The central design inspiration was the location in the heart of Manhattan. The project relocates the CRA New York team from its previous dark and overcrowded office space into a light-filled workspace designed specifically for CRA’s workstyle.
The design of CRA’s New York office involved renovation of two floors at 1411 Broadway, a high-rise office building in the garment district. Working closely with the CEO and employees of international consulting firm Charles River Associates, Elkus Manfredi Architects has transformed the company’s headquarters and four additional offices to express the firm’s culture, support the performance of its exceptional staff, and attract the world’s top talent Views to the city take center stage in the reception area, which features sleek, sophisticated white leather seating and a classic oriental rug custom-dyed blue to balance the space’s concrete and glass aesthetic with softness, while the wood back of the sofa offers a warm element.Ĭonference Rooms: (2) 6-person, (1) 10-person (3) 14-person Photo Credit for all images © Andrew Bordwin Designers created a welcoming, generous reception space that does not acoustically overpower the conference rooms or interfere with their confidentiality imperatives. The reception area is immediately adjacent to three conference rooms.

Oversized windows maximize the extraordinary views, bringing the city into the space. The urban industrial loft aesthetic of CRA’s New York City office captures the essence of Manhattan with polished concrete, bronze finishes, interior glass walls, and a moody palette of blues and purples.
